How to Identify and Avoid a Timeshare Resale Scam

<p>Timeshare sales representatives can be very pushy. They will say just about anything in order to trick people into buying their share of a property. Unfortunately, many people end up falling into their trap. Some do so because they’re lied to about the state of the industry. Others do so because they don’t feel like sitting in a timeshare presentation all day long, and agree to the purchase just to get away from pushy sellers.</p>

<p>Both of these types of buyers will ultimately want out of the timeshare. Sadly, it’s extremely difficult to get out of such a scheme. The timeshare resale industry is just as bad as the regular sellers. Resellers will charge an upfront fee and promise to sell the property at a profitable price.  Most of these companies are unable to sell anything for anyone. </p>

<p>If you are trying to get rid of your timeshare, you need to learn about the resale scams.  </p>

<p>Here are some tips for identifying and avoiding such scams:</p>

• If a company claims to have wealthy clients waiting to buy properties such as yours, don’t believe it. Even if they really do, then those clients are only interested in certain properties, which may not include yours. They high extremely high standards and are very selective with which properties they choose.
• If you ever receive a letter or a phone call from someone claiming to have a buyer for your property, just as long as you cover the closing costs, don’t believe them. These scam artists will take your money and run with it! By the time you realize your mistake, they will have moved on.
• If a company ever tells you that you can’t “sell your property on your own!” take such a statement with a grain of salt. No, you might not be able to sell it on your own, but that doesn’t mean you should give them money to sell it for you.
• Be cautious whenever a <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link']);” href=”http://www.usatimesharerelief.com/”>resale company</a> promises to place your ad in listings that you yourself cannot access. These companies will make you think that there are primary market listings that average timeshare owners such as yourself can’t access. They’ll charge you a fee, and then throw up an ad in regular listings. They won’t actively try to sell your property at all.

<p>These are just a few samples of what lengths timeshare resellers will go through to scam you. The safest way to <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link']);” href=”http://www.usatimesharerelief.com/”>get rid of your timeshare</a>, other than selling it yourself, is to go through a timeshare exit provider. This type of company will not make any guarantees about selling your property. Instead, it will help you come up with the best and <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link']);” href=”http://www.usatimesharerelief.com/”>safest exit strategy possible</a>. </p>

In today’s economy it’s virtually impossible to <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link']);” href=”http://www.usatimesharerelief.com/”>sell timeshare</a>. USA Timeshare Relief will come up with an effective exit strategy to help you <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link']);” href=”http://www.usatimesharerelief.com/”>get rid of your timeshare</a> once and for all.

Save Money By Taking A Stay At Home Vacation

Keeping an eye on your budget during your time off from work can be a challenge, particularly during a sluggish economy. It used to be that families traveled on vacation, spending money on airfare, hotels, and restaurants while away from home, but more and more people are keeping it low-key. You might find that the answer for you is to look into a staycation this year instead of a vacation.

You’ll be amazed at how much fun you can have during a “renovation staycation.” Pick one room to make over completely and go to work with paint, polish up fixtures, and rearrange furniture. Try turning your bedroom into a romantic retreat by adding inexpensive touches like fuzzy pillows and cashmere throws. Updating lampshades and minor accessories can really make a world of difference in your decor.

Make it a day of culture by visiting museums, libraries, and local art galleries. Tour historic sites in your area and read up on what your city or state is famous for. If you’re in New Jersey, look into why it’s called the “Garden State.” For Missouri, check out why your state is called the “Show me State.” There’s always a story worth hearing, so make a day of it and get an education in the process.

Since you’re the one who sets the schedule during your week off, think about having a full day of “you time”. Go to the day spa, get a manicure and pedicure, and don’t forget the massage. This is a great opportunity to totally revamp your look with a dramatic new hairstyle. Get frivolous by adding highlights and maybe even getting a henna tattoo.

Try a theme for each night of the week. On “picture day,” you can see a movie, take pictures of the sunset, and then rent a movie for later on that night. On “animal day,” you might consider visiting a zoo or local farm and then watching animal shows on television. Perhaps you could go root for a local baseball team on “sports day,” then watch “Field of Dreams” later on at home.

Check the local weather forecast and, if it’s going to be a nice day, get outside and get physical. Consider hiking, which will get you out into nature and will get your blood pumping, or camping out under the stars. Try to gather a group of friends who will camp out with you without the technological gadgets we’ve all come to rely on so you can be in touch with nature and each other while enjoying a night under the stars.

Even if money is tight for you right now, it is certainly possible to enjoy your time off from work without traveling far or spending a fortune. Looking around the area in which you live, you’ll find interesting sights to visit and things to do that don’t require much travel. Take a chance on a staycation instead of a vacation, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much fun you’ll have.
